Steffi Graf is a German former professional tennis player. Widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time, she was ranked world No.1 in women’s singles for a record 377 weeks. She won 107 titles, including 22 Grand Slam tournaments, being the Australian Open (1988, 1989, 1990 and 1994); the French Open (1987, 1988, 1993, 1995, 1996 and 1999); Wimbledon (1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995 and 1996) and the US Open (1988, 1989, 1993, 1995 and 1996). She retired at the age of 30 and both Martina Navratilova and Billie-Jean King calling her “the greatest player of all time”. She married the former World No 1 male player Andre Agassi (USA) in 2001 and they live in Las Vegas, USA. Steffi had turned professional at the age of 13. In 1988 she won the BBC TV Overseas Sports Personality of the Year.
